About

Raised in Saudi Arabia with ties to Syria, DWSM draws on his childhood influences and family heritage throughout his music. His genre-bending sets blend the sounds of the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Africa with emotive melodies and percussive elements. 

DWSM began classical training on the piano at age six and expanded his instrumental repertoire with the trumpet a few years later. He discovered electronic music as a teenager and started DJing on vinyl when he was 18.

DWSM has been performing in San Francisco semi-professionally as a DJ since 2023. In this short time he has played at SF’s top venues and opened for artists such as John Digweed, Rodriguez Jr., Stephan Bodzin, and Eelke Kleijn. He has also begun producing original tracks that are absolutely shaking San Francisco dance floors.

2025

Hybrid Sets

DWSM has begun incorporating live elements into his sets including the trumpet, percussion, drum pads, and synthesizers. He is specifically seeking venues and events that allow him to use these elements in his shows.

Production

DWSM is working on his first major track, an organic house remix of Riders on the Storm by The Doors, as well as a collection of original compositions for the piano, both of which are expected to be released by the end of 2025.

Bookings

DWSM is currently booking through the end of 2025 and requests that bookings are made at least three to four weeks in advance.
