Growing up in Saudi Arabia, DWSM was steeped in the sights, smells, and sounds of the Middle East from an early age. At six he started on the piano and a few years later the trumpet, with synthesizers and electronic music changing the course of his life in his teenage years.
DWSM aspires to a fusion of the rich sounds of the Middle East, Africa, and the Mediterranean with the electronic beats and syncopated melodies of drum machines and analog synthesizers. After privately composing and DJing on and off for over twenty years, DWSM is now taking his musical calling seriously and devoting his full attention to the craft.
